During Container Loading Supervision (CLS), the V-Trust inspector monitors the loading process, checks product quantity & container condition, and ensures the proper handling of your cargo.

A simple quality check is performed before loading to verify that the product type and packing details conform to your requirements. However, it’s not as thorough as the pre-shipment inspection.

Where is a suitable place to conduct a Container Loading Supervision?

A Container Loading Supervision is normally applicable to the FCL (full container load) shipments. It is suggested to be performed at the factory when the goods are loaded from the warehouse into the container.

What criteria are covered in a Container Loading Supervision?

AQL is widely used to decide whether to accept a production lot by checking random samples. It offers the advantage of clearly defining the number of samples to be inspected from a given lot or consignment.

For AQL Level, unless otherwise specified, we will follow AQL General Level II as the default sampling plan.

For Major Defects which are likely to result in function failures or reductions of the usability of products or obvious appearance disfiguration that may affect the salability of products, we will follow Major Defect AQL 2.5 as the default level, unless otherwise specified.

Why do I need a container loading supervision?

When importing from Asian countries, if you are worried about or have experienced problems such as short shipments, wrong items delivered, received goods damaged during transportation, V-Trust container loading supervision will be a good solution. V-Trust container loading supervision can check if the correct product and quantity have been loaded into the container with proper handling.

How many days in advance should I book the container loading supervision?

Though sometimes it's possible to book next-day inspections for many manufacturing clusters where V-Trust has a large team of full-time inspectors, we recommend booking with us at least three days in advance. Early booking is important for appropriate scheduling and good preparation before the inspection.

Who will I be in contact with throughout the whole process?

There will be one dedicated account manager who will be assigned as your main contact point at V-Trust. You will receive prompt responses whenever you have any questions regarding the inspection arrangement.

Do I need to send you the packing list?

Yes, the packing list (as well as the loading plan if available) confirmed by the buyer is a good reference the V-Trust inspector can use during the container loading supervision.

Can you contact me when there is a problem found during the loading?

Sure. You can leave your contact information like your mobile number during the booking so that your V-Trust account manager can inform you timely in case there are serious problems found in the loading process.

Will you seal the container after the goods have been loaded?

Yes. The V-Trust inspector will seal the container and record the number of the seal in the report after the goods have been loaded into each container.

How long does it take to know the inspection result?

The official report, reviewed and signed by an authorized V-Trust technical manager, will be available within 24 hours after each inspection. Same day report is available if you would like to know about the inspection findings on the same day. V-Trust has the highest same day report rate in the inspection industry. In this way, you can start to communicate at the earliest with the factory for correction if necessary.

What if I have questions after I check V-Trust report?
